Hello everyone!
I (Katie) am filling in for Lisa this week in sending out the email regarding Sunday worship arrangements. By the way, I missed you all this past week………..Gabe was sick, but is ALL better now.:) Andrea, may the Lord grant you grace, guidance and abundant evidences of His providence as you settle into life in Charleston! Wilsons, I have missed you ALL and hope that you are all enjoying your summer and that “baby” Wilson is growing healthy and strong (how’s the Momma-to-be?). Renfros, I hope you all are settling into a more restful routine and pace a little more every day. Hostetlers, you will be missed! Have a wonderful trip!
WHat a blessing it is to our hearts to meet together and worship with you ALL on the Lords Day!
This coming Sunday, June 22nd, Chris Marley, Jr. will be preaching. Jeanette Wilson will be the adult-in-charge of the nursery (Jeanette, we will make sure you have at least one helper). We will have sandwich supper so everyone bring a loaf of sandwiches or some bread and “fixin’s” along with a side dish or dessert. SC folks please bring drinks (feel free to bring anything else as well - you’re not limited to drinks, that is). Frank Wilson will lead a time of prayer at 5 pm and the Spearmans will be greeters.
A look ahead: We have tossed around the idea of a “retreat” of sorts in order to grow to know one another better and to fellowship and pray together. Be thinking of a Saturday this summer that you all think might work for your families. We (the Spearmans) would be happy to host it or if you all think that’s too far to drive and have any other ideas for location just let us know. THis Sunday evening during our supper time might be a good time to discuss it and to set a date and location. So, bring your calendars!

Hello everyone!
We sure enjoyed our time this past Sunday as we met some new folks from AZ and welcomed the nice family from Weaverville! Seth Spearman will be bringing a message to us from God’s word this week. Erin Renfro will be serving in nursery this week. We will have a taco supper for our fellowship meal after worship. Jeanette is bringing meat and we will bring shells for burritos and tacos. We would ask that folks bring cheese, toppings, drinks and desserts. Frank Wilson leads corporate prayer at 5:00 for all who can come. Please let us know how our group can pray for you and your family. Us Hostetlers would continue to ask for your prayers for our Wednesday night study and the many ministry opportunities the Lord has placed before us. As always, we would welcome any of you who can come to be a part. The study is Battling Unbelief with John Piper.
In an attempt to promote a more efficient ministry for our nursery, I am going to make a calendar that will include one adult female and one alternate ( perhaps a teen to come alongside the adult when needed) to serve. I would like to hear from each of you as to 1) what week each month you would like to serve in nursery (e.g. the 3rd vs the 1st Sunday…..) and 2) if you would like to serve as a couple. It would be great to have some husbands serve occasionally with their wives in this ministry if they are able. So please let me hear from you. If you have any suggetions or comments with regards to this, please feel free to let me know! I’m very open to any ideas! We will be on vacation the next 2 weeks, so I’ll try to have something to give to folks by this weekend.
